Class Days/Times

Class begins Monday, October 7 and runs Monday & Friday on week one from 9am - 5pm and Monday, Wednesday, & Friday on week two from 9:00am - 5:00pm. The final day of class is Friday, October 18.

Students will be required to pick up their book at one of our various pick-up locations listed in the confirmation email, along with the materials that will need to be printed prior to class attendance. Additional details will be provided upon registration.

Our state approved 40 hour class encompasses real estate law, math, terminology, 4 hours of fair housing & licensing material review in preparation for taking the Salesperson's exam. This is a State of Michigan required course and is an exam preparation class only. This course includes a final exam, mid-term, and chapter quizzes. A student should plan to study and read outside of the classroom. Upon passing, a student will receive a certificate and be eligible to take the State exam.

Please arrive early the first day with your textbook and printed materials. A pocket calculator is highly recommended, as you may not use your cell phone on your exam. Students are required to attend the first module of class. Computers, cell phones, and recording devices may not be used during class. Recording of class, other than by Real Estate One Academy, is prohibited.

Please notify the Real Estate One Academy before a scheduled class begins, if a student needs an accommodation for a disability or accessibility needs, so we may assist you. Most of our facilities are barrier free.

We reserve the right to cancel a class or change location. All students registered will be notified in the event of a change or cancellation.

Our classes run in modules. All class time missed will need to be made-up in another Real Estate One Academy Salesperson class module. A student needs to be present for an entire module for attendance purposes. A student may not be permitted to enter the classroom if they are late. If a student leaves a module early, the entire module will need to be made up. Make up opportunities are limited. We encourage students to plan ahead and attend their entire course as scheduled.

Refund policy: If requested by the student up through the class start date, all tuition and fees* paid by the student to Real Estate One Academy will be refunded within 30 days. *The book fee is non-refundable once the student receives the textbook.

Rescheduling a class: A student may reschedule at no charge, one time only, up until 24 hours of the start date. All subsequent or later reschedules will incur a $20 non-refundable fee. The new class must be started within 12 months of the canceled class. Monies are forfeited if 12 months have passed, it is the responsibility of the student to reschedule their class.

Terms and Refund Policy for Real Estate One Academy 2024

Student completion rate for 2023 - 80.25%

Students are required to attend the first module of class. Students may not continue in a class if they miss the first module. A student needs to be present for an entire module for attendance purposes, all real estate one academy classes are recorded. A student may not be permitted to enter the classroom if they are late. If a student leaves a module early, the entire module will need to be made up. All class time missed will need to be made-up in another Real Estate One Academy Salesperson class module, regardless of the reason for the missed time. Make up opportunities are limited.

Students attending the salesperson fundamentals class virtually must:

• Have a stable internet connection on a laptop or tablet, a phone is not recommended. The computer used for class must have a camera, speakers, and a microphone so the student is able to interact with the instructor and the other students.
• Be prepared to have their face visible on the screen for the entire class
• Be in a distraction free environment. Students are not allowed to attend the class while driving or otherwise distracted.
• Pick up a textbook at one of the designated locations before class.
• Print the additional class materials before class.
